The Hikvision DS-3E1528P-SI-24P4F is a high-capacity 24-port Gigabit Smart PoE switch designed for professional IP surveillance systems and demanding network installations.
With 24 Gigabit PoE ports and a total PoE power budget of 370W, the switch can provide both network connectivity and power to a large number of compatible PoE devices from a single rack-mounted unit. Each PoE port can provide up to 30W.
The switch also includes 4 Gigabit SFP fibre optical ports, providing flexible fibre uplink connectivity for connecting CCTV networks across buildings, between network cabinets or to a wider network infrastructure.
With a 56Gbps switching capacity and 41.66Mpps packet forwarding rate, the DS-3E1528P-SI-24P4F is designed to handle high-volume network traffic efficiently.
Designed for IP CCTV and Professional Networks
The DS-3E1528P-SI-24P4F is particularly suited to larger IP CCTV installations where multiple cameras need to be connected to a central network switch.
The 24 Gigabit PoE ports allow compatible IP cameras, access points, intercom devices and other PoE equipment to be connected directly to the switch without requiring separate power supplies at each device.
The 370W PoE budget provides substantial power capacity across the switch, while each individual PoE port supports up to 30W.
4 Gigabit SFP Fibre Ports
Four Gigabit SFP fibre optical ports provide flexible high-speed fibre connectivity.
These ports can be used for fibre uplinks between network switches, buildings or other network infrastructure when copper Ethernet cabling is unsuitable or when longer-distance network links are required.

Remote Management
The switch supports Hikvision's Hik-Partner Pro platform for remote management.
Supported functions include viewing port rates, monitoring bandwidth utilisation and PoE power usage, viewing topology information, checking alarm status, restarting ports and connected devices, enabling long-range mode and remotely upgrading the switch.
The switch also supports management through Hik-Central Pro and web-based management.
PoE Watchdog and Long-Range PoE
The switch supports PoE watchdog functionality, allowing connected PoE devices that stop responding to be automatically detected and restarted.
Its long-range PoE function can provide transmission up to 300 metres on supported ports and compatible installations. Actual performance can vary depending on the camera/device model and cable condition.
This can be particularly useful for CCTV installations where cameras are positioned a considerable distance from the network cabinet.
Network Security
The DS-3E1528P-SI-24P4F includes several features designed to improve network security and reliability.
DHCP snooping helps prevent unauthorised DHCP servers from disrupting the network, while ACL functionality provides configurable access control. ARP anti-spoofing and IPSG can also be used to control device access using port, MAC and IP binding.
Port isolation can separate connected devices into isolation groups while still allowing communication with devices outside the group.
Surge Protection
The switch provides 6kV surge protection, helping protect the PoE network ports against electrical surges.
Rack-Mount Design
The metal housing is designed for rack installation and mounting ears are included.
The switch measures 440mm × 44mm × 220.8mm and weighs approximately 2.8kg net.
