The Dahua XVR5108HS-4KL-I3/T is an 8 channel Penta-brid WizSense digital video recorder that supports HDCVI, AHD, TVI, CVBS and IP camera inputs on a single unit, making it a versatile choice for new builds and analogue upgrades alike. It records analogue channels at up to 4K at 15fps and 5MP at 25fps, and supports up to 16 IP camera inputs at up to 8MP each, with a generous 128 Mbps incoming bandwidth and a 4K HDMI output ensuring the system is built with plenty of headroom.
AI functions are handled at the recorder level across all 8 channels, covering AcuPick for fast person and vehicle search, full-channel SMD Plus to eliminate false alarms from non-human triggers, full-channel Perimeter Protection with tripwire and intrusion detection, 4-channel face recognition backed by up to 10 databases holding 20,000 images, and 8-channel coaxial two-way audio so communication runs over the existing BNC cabling without any additional wiring. Smart H.265+ and AI Coding keep storage and bandwidth demands low, and a single HDD bay supports drives up to 16TB.
