The Dahua DHI-NVR5216-16HP-XI/Pro is a 16-channel WizMind network video recorder designed for professional and commercial installations that demand serious AI capability across a larger camera count. It supports cameras up to 32MP, handles up to 512Mbps incoming bandwidth, and delivers 8K HDMI output for ultra-high-definition local monitoring. The WizMind platform brings WizSeek natural-language video search powered by Dahua's Xinghan AI model, allowing users to describe a target in plain text and retrieve matching footage instantly, alongside AcuPick, 8-channel face detection and recognition, perimeter protection, video metadata, ANPR, people counting and PPE detection. The integrated 16-port ePoE switch powers cameras directly through the recorder with a 240W total PoE budget, and dual SATA bays support drives up to 20TB each for extended retention.
