The Ajax EN54 IO Module 2x2 Jeweller is a wireless input and output module designed for EN54 certified fire safety systems. It allows seamless integration of third party devices into the Ajax ecosystem, extending the system’s capabilities without replacing existing equipment.
The module provides two inputs and two galvanically isolated relay outputs. Inputs support normally closed, normally open, end of line, two end of line, and three end of line wiring, enabling connection to devices such as beam detectors, manual call points, HVAC systems or elevator controls. The relay outputs can be used to control emergency lighting, door locks, gates or other safety equipment, with support for both AC and DC loads.
Using secure Jeweller radio communication, the module offers stable long range two way connectivity. Powered by two pre installed CR123A batteries, it delivers up to five years of autonomous operation while notifying users in advance of low battery status. Installation is simple with multiple cable entry options, a protective housing, included resistors and tamper protection to ensure reliability and compliance.
